Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, Metta Welfare Association has gone beyond caring for 32 intellectually disabled clients in its first welfare center in Hougang in 1995 to serving over 1,400 clients over ten welfare centers located island wide, catering to the young, infirm, and terminally ill in our community.
We would not have achieved this milestone without your support. Because of you, we have made incredible changes and growth over the years. The 30th anniversary theme, You + Me, Shine The Light Forward celebrates our journey together as we continue to create an inclusive community where everyone is provided with opportunities to grow- now and in the future.
Partnering Singapore Pools as the title sponsor for the 3rd year, the Singapore Pools x Metta Virtual Race 2022 will continue its virtual format so that participants can join in safely at their own time and pace while being part of this meaningful activity. The funds raised will be used to support the development and enrichment of our welfare programmes and activities for needy beneficiaries in our ten centers located island wide.
As part of our celebration this year, new features such as a cycling category, geolocation-game and halfway mark redemption will be added to the virtual race.
